My Highlight
We had a whole weekend of ministry, hearing God’s intent for us regarding money and an opportunity for us to be completely transformed by changing the way that we think about money. The Word that was brought to us, has and is truly changing my worldview and therefore my life.
One of my highlights was listening to the two interviews that were done with business people in our congregation. I received so much of what they’ve learned about doing business and managing finances God’s way. It’s choosing to be all in with Jesus and with His Church and honouring Him with what He gave you to steward. It was so amazing because God used them to answer such personal questions that I’ve been asking Him.
Another highlight was Message Moments that we had on Sunday afternoon. The Holy Spirit moved strongly in the hearts of the young ones to intercede and speak His will into the earth for education. God’s heart is to restore generations that have been laid waste and so that’s what He could do as they interceded. Glory to God. It was an eternal moment that will last for eternity.
How My Worldview Has Changed
There are so many things that have been imparted to us but I would say the main points of how my thinking has changed is that what you choose to do with your money is worship. It’s a daily choice to be all in with Jesus, to love Him, and to worship Him and so when you are all in, money is just one part of being all in. I choose to tithe because I worship Him and I honour Him, it’s out of love not because of law or rules.
God transfers mission and purpose to us and in doing what He wants us to do, He will always take care of the provision part. When you’re on a mission for Him, you don’t even have to think about money or provision, it will be taken care of. I’ve also learned that my mission is directly connected with who God has called me with and to the Ecclesia that I am planted in. How I use my money shows what I believe my mission is.
Another point for me is that my work is my worship, it’s not what I do to provide for myself. It’s the blessing of the Lord that makes me rich and it’s in my seeking Him first that He adds unto me all the things that I have need of and also desire. The money that I receive is seed for me to sow and to bless others. I am blessed to be a blessing. With this, (A BIG POWOW moment for me!) God’s Word is my Source. My provision isn’t dependent on my bank account or what I earn, it’s based on the Word that I speak and the harvest I receive. The Word says the sower sows the Word therefore the Word is seed. As I sow seed, God provides for me because His kingdom works with seedtime and harvest time, not buy and sell as the world does.
Okay, that’s enough for now but whoah ain’t that good? Praise Jesus.
