MY STORY

My name is Ester Kruger, I was born midday on the 15th of September 2002 in Pretoria, South Africa. My dad and my mom are two wonderful people who loves God and has taught us how to love Him. By “us” I mean, my sister, my brother and I. I am the youngest of three. Even though I was born in Pretoria, I grew up Afrikaans in a small town called Witbank in Mpumalanga.

Of what I’ve been told, I wasn’t even a week old when my parents already took me to our (then) NG church and as a baby I was always taken with on mission outreaches across the country. I’m quite a lot younger than my siblings (11 years) and therefore as my parents have grown in God, my mom told me that I was the first child that they prayed for before I was born. The Lord also made it very clear to her to call my Ester.

I grew up in a loving home, one that’s always open to others, being a witness of my parents serving the Lord at home but also in public, always endeavouring to put Him first in everything. As a result of their pursuit of God, we came to Heritage of Faith when I was 8 years old. Oh boy, the first week I cried. It was English and I thought that we would be in the NG church FOREVER. I did not want to move. But praise God that He knows best, I found my home at 8 years old.

Ever since I’ve been a young girl I’ve loved God and had a deep knowing that He has a plan for my life.
